The principle is actually the method of glass fiber reinforced plastics, pour the resin with curing agent, color paste, and filler into the mold, and wait for it to solidify and shape. For the mold of resin luminous characters, unless you have to make bulky and heavy solid characters, your mold can only be made of a periphery, otherwise the mold must be made of double layers. Both iron and aluminum plates can be used for molds. Once the mold is ready, it is poured and then it is cured. After the curing is complete, polish and install the lamp.

The popularity of blister characters luminous characters originated from the signs of KFC and McDonald's. For blister characters, wooden molds are used for molds. To make a wooden model, use a wire saw on a flat surface. But three-dimensional engraving machine must be used. First build the model in the computer, and then use the engraving machine to carve it out. Once the mold comes out, you can blister, of course you have to have a blister machine.

The luminous characters of blister letters are about big S, such as McDonald's, KFC and other chain stores, and of course BMW and Toyota. Single piece production is not cost-effective. I plan to make blister characters, so don’t launch it now. Engraving machines and blister machines are indispensable. Engraving machines and plastic machines are relatively large nowadays, two-meter and three-meter ones are not a problem. Of course, the plastic board used for blister is also very particular. For example, if it is not broken, you have to use a PC board.

The blister letters are mellow, while the metal shell is vigorous and powerful.

Mention the metal characters again. The metal characters here are not traditional steel characters, metal characters, and stainless steel characters, but luminous characters made of metal, which are channel-shaped luminous characters. And this light uses LED, not neon light. The metal luminous characters are divided into three types: aluminum characters, stainless steel characters, and metal characters. First of all, the board and the bottom plate are flat, so there is no need to make a mold or blister. Transparent acrylic sheet is used for the panel and metal sheet for the bottom. The metal bottom plate can be made of iron or aluminum. Iron plates are cheap, and big letters are easy to weld. The aluminum plate is anti-rust, in fact, this aluminum plate is divided into many grades.

How to cut it down? The easiest way is to add tools manually. Use cutting saws and manual gongs. There is another tool to mention here, that is, what some people say is "an engraving machine that is not a cutting saw". A steering device is added to the electric drill, similar to a punch, to cut metal plates. If you want this board, the bottom plate is well done, beautiful, and efficient, and you can also invest in some numerical control equipment.

The engraving machine cuts the board and the aluminum board is fine. The price and performance of different engraving machines vary greatly. For example, the 1.2m X2.4m format is cheaper than 20,000 to 30,000 yuan, and more than 100,000 yuan. If it is a large-shaped bottom plate, a plasma cutting machine is acceptable.

The iron sheet is suitable for making big characters, it doesn't matter if you put it farther and rough. Aluminum and stainless steel characters are suitable for small and medium-sized characters, and the seams should not be too large. How to cut this stainless steel, water jet is the best, it won't be deformed by heat, and there is no black edge. No water jet? The laser is also fine, so use the cleaning agent to control it. As mentioned earlier, the common features of these metal luminous characters are the panels, bottom plates, edges and lights.

In the production of outdoor advertising, in fact, it is not only the metal luminous characters and blister characters that need to be bordered, the resin luminous characters also need the border of the mold, and it is double-layered! Next, I will talk about the method of enclosing in detail.

At present, there are three ways to make a border: all manual, measuring with a ruler; printing a strip of paper and sticking it up; automatic punching and automatic bending. Let me talk about the first one: you have to make the bottom of the character, and then use a ruler to measure the side length. Let's talk about the second one, input the words into the software, and then the software will print out where to bend and where to cut teeth. What's more magical is that the arc is also punched out. Stick the printed note on the material, and you can do as it is. The efficiency and speed of writing characters in this way are greatly improved. In particular, the information provided for later bending is particularly useful. Let's talk about the third type, automatic cutting and automatic bending. As the name suggests, it is automatic operation, feeding the aluminum skin in, and even the teeth are already cut when it comes out. However, there are not many automatic bending machines in China.
